Job Description:

Join a specialized transplant medical surgical unit as a registered nurse where you'll be the first to float between various floors, including units like 4CS, 5 West, and 6 Neuro. This role involves caring for adult pre and post liver, kidney, pancreas, and intestinal transplant patients, with adolescents aged 15 and above also on the roster. You'll manage a 1:5 day or 1:6 night ratio, occasionally facing 1:7 night shifts, with all drips requiring management on every floor. Expect to work EPIC charting, and hold current BLS and ACLS certifications. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a large urban hospital setting and be prepared for frequent floating to meet staffing demands. This contract offers 13 weeks of intensive, engaging work in a fast-paced environment where your expertise makes a difference.
