Job Description:

Join our team as an ICU RN in Peoria, Illinois, for a 13-week travel contract focused on neuro-critical care. You'll work 12-hour night shifts in a dedicated Neuro ICU unit with 18 beds, providing specialized care for patients experiencing strokes, post-craniectomy recovery, and other neurocritical conditions. This role offers a chance to hone advanced skills such as ventriculostomy management, arterial and central line care, ventilator support, and stroke protocols. You'll be part of a highly collaborative team, with charge nurses and house supervisors available around the clock, and support staff including nurse aides and telemetry techs to ensure quality patient care. Expect a mix of challenging yet rewarding cases that truly make a difference in patients' lives. This assignment uniquely combines clinical expertise with the intensity of ICU work, all in a facility committed to a drug-free environment and safety.
