Job Description:

This contract opportunity is ideal for a healthcare professional experienced in cardiac care, particularly in a mixed IMC/CC setting providing advanced heart failure therapies. You will be working in a unit that handles complex cases such as heart failure, VAD complications, and transplant rejection, often using specialized equipment like LVAD and Impella. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, offering a chance to gain hands-on experience with high-acuity patients while navigating a patient ratio of 3 to 5:1. Flexibility is key, as staffing needs can shift due to sick callouts, but there’s also potential to work alongside ICU travelers, ensuring consistent patient coverage. Your role will involve titrating vasoactive drips, managing complex procedures, and contributing to a team that cares for critically ill patients with diverse cardiac diagnoses.
