Job Description:

Join a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit in Seattle as a Registered Nurse specializing in high-risk obstetrics. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts, providing direct patient care to women in labor, during delivery, and in the immediate postpartum period. You will circulate during deliveries, perform newborn assessments, and administer medications such as magnesium sulfate, insulin, and heparin. The role requires hands-on skills in electronic fetal monitoring, neonatal care including eye and thigh assessments, and providing care to both mothers and newborns in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This assignment is a chance to further refine your expertise in high-risk obstetrics while experiencing the vibrant city of Seattle.
