Job Description:

This 13-week outpatient rehab therapy contract in Richmond, VA, offers a rewarding opportunity for licensed occupational or physical therapists with at least 2 years of hospital-based experience. The role involves working on the rehab unit at Johnston Willis Hospital, primarily overseeing neuro-rehabilitation cases such as stroke evaluation and treatment. You will engage in manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities, utilizing advanced equipment like ceiling lifts and Bioness devices. The shift consists of 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with intermittent weekend rotations, providing a consistent schedule for a focused yet vibrant work experience.
