Job Description:

Join a well-respected 225-bed specialty care hospital in Marquette, Michigan, for a 13-week contract as an RN working on the Observation Unit. This role offers a mix of day and night shifts (12 hours each) with a weekly guaranteed commitment of 36 hours. You'll be monitoring adult patients with observation status for conditions such as chest pain, asthma exacerbations, TIA, abdominal pain, urinary issues, and post-procedural monitoring. Expect to work with cardiac monitors and utilize Cerner electronic health records. The assignment provides a chance to experience life in the central region of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, known for its natural beauty and outdoor recreation. Candidates should have at least one year of med/surg experience, preferably with telemetry skills, and hold current RN licensure with all necessary certifications.
