Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in a busy Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit within a hospital in Glendale, California. You'll be responsible for providing skilled labor support in a unit that handles a high volume of births, including high-risk deliveries, down to 23 weeks of gestation. Expect to assist with C-sections, monitor fetal progress using Obix fetal monitoring, and collaborate with the in-house perinatology team. Your role involves scrub, recovery, and circulating duties, with a focus on ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and babies during critical moments. The shift is 12 hours overnight, and you'll be working four nights per week over the full 13-week assignment. This role offers a unique chance to gain extensive obstetric experience in a vibrant environment where no two shifts are the same, and you'll be a key part of a dedicated team supporting women during childbirth.
