Job Description:

This contract opportunity in Labor and Delivery at Mission Hospital’s Memorial Campus in Asheville, North Carolina, is perfect for experienced professionals ready to bring their expertise to a high-intensity environment. You will work a 12-hour night shift, providing care during some of the most critical moments in childbirth. Your duties will include assisting with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and immediate newborn care, utilizing equipment such as Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring. This setting offers a chance to handle a patient load of 1:1 or 1:2 ratios while supporting a team of dedicated staff in a facility recognized for clinical excellence and safety. The role offers an engaging blend of technical skill application and the unique rhythm of night shifts, contributing directly to the health and safety of mothers and infants in a busy, well-equipped unit.
