Job Description:

Join a travel nursing team for a 13-week Nights assignment in Jeffersonville, Indiana, where your shift is a steady 6:45 PM–7:15 AM rhythm and your expertise supports a busy acute inpatient unit overnight. In this role, you’ll assess and reassess, develop and implement individualized plans of care, monitor and document responses to clinical interventions, and coordinate education for patients and families as part of the full inpatient experience. You’ll also provide leadership on shift by mentoring and precepting staff, delegating appropriately, and helping drive quality, safety, and service improvement through practice governance.

The assignment includes every other weekend, so you’ll experience a mix of concentrated weekend coverage and focused weekday momentum—making it ideal if you enjoy structured autonomy, hands-on problem solving, and building consistency across your night workflow. (Weather varies by season, but the city is known for welcoming, livable days between shifts.)

Weather:

Expect a mix of mild-to-warm days and cooler evenings, with occasional rain showers. Humidity can rise on warmer days, while nights may feel crisp after the sun goes down.
