Job Description:

Join a Labor & Delivery team in Omaha, Nebraska as a travel healthcare professional focused on operating room (OR) and newborn readiness for scheduled C-sections. This role supports both labor and delivery workflows and includes the expectation that you’ll circulate in the OR while also demonstrating competency in normal newborn assessments and routine baby care. On occasion, you will float to Postpartum, where you’ll care for both the infant and the mother as part of unit coverage needs.

You’ll work 12-hour day shifts as part of a consistent schedule: 0630-1900 or 1830-0700, with weekend requirements every third weekend (which may be every other based on unit needs). The unit operates with 16 labor rooms and 9 antepartum rooms, plus OR suites for C-sections, and includes 7 triage beds and 36 postpartum/birth beds. You’ll also titrate common drips/medications such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate according to provider orders.
