Job Description:

Travel to Asheville, North Carolina and join a 6 West Neurosciences team at Mission Hospital for a contract built around 12-hour night shifts. You’ll support the flow of a busy medical-surgical/neurosciences unit using standard Med Surg equipment and Cerner as your EMR. The shift structure includes 1 charge RN on nights, with coverage supported by RNs, CNAs, and a unit HUC, plus weekend commitment every other weekend.

This role is ideal for a healthcare professional with NIH certification and current ACLS, with neuro experience preferred. Day-to-day responsibilities commonly include Foley insertion and IV starts—work that calls for steady focus and hands-on clinical readiness throughout the night.

Weather:

Expect mild conditions with comfortable daytime temperatures, cool evenings, and occasional periods of rain. The area’s elevation can bring noticeable day-to-night temperature changes.
