Job Description:

Join a travel contract as an LPN for a Swing Bed (inpatient rehab) team in Kirksville, Missouri. In this role, you’ll deliver nursing care for up to 10 swing (rehab) patients, with the possibility of absorbing med-surg assignments if swing volume decreases. Expect work that matches traditional skill requirements while supporting a smaller, less nurse-intensive rehab mix.

This is a 13-week travel assignment focused on consistent, dependable day coverage. You’ll work 12-hour days, typically 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, on an EOW schedule, with weekly hours totaling 36.0. No standing call is required; you may be placed on call only if volume supports, without exceeding standard contract call-off time terms.

To be successful, you’ll bring 1+ year of LPN experience and knowledge of IV medications. BLS is required, and you’ll use MedHost EMR. Swing Bed nursing here is straightforward and hands-on—show up, deliver quality care, and support smooth daily unit flow.

Weather:

Expect comfortable fall-like conditions with a mix of mild days and cooler evenings, along with occasional breezy afternoons and periods of precipitation. Layers are helpful as temperatures can shift throughout the week.
