Job Description:

Travel to Wilmington, North Carolina as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract on 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15). You’ll work a focused med/surg assignment with adults and geriatrics, supporting general medical/surgical patients while covering core unit needs like insulin and heparin drip management, wound vac dressing changes, and high-flow oxygen support. Expect occasional limited short-term BiPAP with respiratory support, with no additional training required.

This role also includes an organized scheduling structure: you’ll be assigned to an Inclement Weather Team, including Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team expectations. You may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disaster scenarios. A charge role is required for night travelers, and EPIC experience is required. You’ll use PYXIS, document in EPIC, and communicate using SBAR.

A single touch of fun: you’ll become a master of the “night shift rhythm”—where 18:45 feels like mission start and 07:15 is your well-earned finish.

Job Specifics:

Location: Wilmington, NC (28401). Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45 - 07:15. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly commitment: 48 hours. Schedule: 4x12-hour night shifts; 36 or 48 hours accepted. Weekend rotation: every other weekend. RTO policy: 7 days max for AYA auto offer; no RTO after booking and RTO cannot be worked out onsite.
