Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit in Albany, Georgia as a travel healthcare professional covering high-risk OB alongside routine OB cases. This contract runs for 17 weeks on 12-hour nights, with a 36.0 hour per week commitment. You’ll work within an L&D setting that includes labor, antepartum, and triage space, supporting care pathways from high-acuity presentations through delivery and post-delivery workflows.

The schedule includes every other weekend, rotating holidays with permanent staff. The facility enforces a strict 72-mile radius rule and requires 2 years of experience in the specialty plus travel experience—no first-time travelers. Expect to float as needed to post-partum, and complete floor-specific orientation (2 shifts) to get up to speed.

Key systems and requirements include FHM System OB Trace and Meditech EMR, along with required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or above EFM. Weekend and call coverage are contract-based and may not include all on-call responsibilities.
