Job Description:

Step into a travel ICU role where your skills are used across multiple ICU specialties while you stay close to home in New Haven, Connecticut. This 13-week contract is for an ICU Registered Nurse joining a Float Pool, working 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00) on a 4x12 schedule (48 hours per week). You will float between two campuses in the same area—York Street Campus and the Saint Raphael campus—supported by a provided shuttle if needed.

The float experience covers 5 ICU specialties and includes step-down floating as needed, which may involve a pulmonary step-down unit. The work is charted in Epic, and your day-to-day includes collaborating with teams across units to support smooth, consistent care workflows during night hours.

This assignment is a great fit if you enjoy variety within ICU practice—staying grounded in your core ICU expertise while adapting to different unit needs across two nearby campuses. (And yes—count on night shift quiet focus.)
