Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Emergency Room team as an ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Burlington, North Carolina. This 12-hour night position follows a 3x12 schedule (7p–7a), with the option of occasional 3p–3a coverage as needed, plus coverage during weekends and holidays. You’ll support shifts that cover a wide range of acuity and patient needs, including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health, with care provided across all ages.

This assignment is a great fit for an RN who wants to be fully immersed in the action of an ER setting while working with a facility that supports advanced stroke and STEMI pathways. Experience with STEMI and stroke-focused care is required, and familiarity with EPIC is essential. You’ll also complete the Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs at this organization, along with maintaining required credentials including BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS. First-time travelers are welcome—bring your ER experience (minimum 2 years) and help keep the night shift running smoothly.

Expect generally mild, comfortable conditions with a mix of sunny and partly cloudy days. Evenings can feel cooler, and occasional rain showers are possible.
