Job Description:

Join our travel team as an RN for a Stepdown/Progressive Care assignment in Indianapolis, supporting a Surgical Progressive Care Unit (SPCU). You’ll work 12-hour night shifts (1900–0730) with weekend rotation every 3rd weekend, plus a holiday rotation. This role includes 36 guaranteed hours per week and may require floating to other stepdown/progressive care units as needed.

The SPCU unit serves CVPCU and surgical stepdown patients, including cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery cases. If you’re an RN with at least 2+ years of experience in a progressive/stepdown setting, and you hold current ACLS and BLS, you’ll find this assignment both structured and meaningful—steady nights, clear rotation expectations, and a team built around consistent, repeatable workflow. (A good pair of hospital-grade comfy shoes helps.)

Weather:

Expect comfortable fall-like conditions with a mix of mild days and cooler evenings. Rain showers are possible, so having a light jacket and weather-ready gear can make nights and commutes more comfortable.
