Job Description:

This contract role places you in the Cardiac ICU (CICU) setting, where you'll focus on post-operative heart patients, those experiencing AMI, and cardiogenic shock. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts from 0700 to 1930, floating across inpatient units as needed, including critical care and acute care clusters. This assignment offers the chance to refine your skills with specialized procedures like IABPs and Impella devices, while managing a patient ratio of approximately 2:1 for CRRT and 1:1 for Impella cases. The work involves frequent cardioversions, line placements, and post-op heart care, offering a hands-on experience to those comfortable managing complex cardiac cases. The environment is fast-paced but rewarding, perfect for resilient professionals who manage change well and prefer working independently.
