Job Description:

Join a medical-surgical team as a Registered Nurse on nights, where your day-to-day work centers on providing skilled care in a unit that uses remote telemetry alongside medical-surgical diagnoses for adolescents through geriatrics. This 12-hour night contract follows a 3x12-hour schedule (19:00–07:00), giving you consistent shifts and focused time to settle into the workflow.

You’ll document in Epic (required), complete medication workflow with Pyxis, and use SBAR for handoffs and communication. The unit operates with an average daily census in the low-to-mid 30s and a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. Scrub color is navy blue, and there are no call requirements.

RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days, with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th–12th). Floating is available within the facility and within scope of practice as needed, and weekends are every other weekend unless otherwise specified.

Weather: Augusta stays comfortably warm with plenty of sunshine and occasional mild rain, making evenings around the city pleasant for getting outside.
