Job Description:

Step into a travel role supporting a Medical/Surgical (MS)/Tele unit in Phoenix, Arizona—where your nights matter and your schedule stays consistent. This 12-hour night position runs 36 hours per week for a 13-week contract. You’ll work 7p–7a shifts and be part of a rotating weekend schedule, with holiday rotation (either A or B), alongside core staff.

Your day-to-day includes caring for MS/Tele patients and post-surgical cases such as appendectomy and cholecystectomy. Telemetry experience is required (Tele: Yes), and you’ll be supported by RT 24/7 and Pharmacy 24/7 resources (remote coverage after 6pm). The unit operates with 16-bed MS/Tele suites, and floating may be required to a sister facility in Mesa if needed.

To be eligible, you must pass a dysrhythmia exam (taken and passed within two attempts) prior to signing the contract. A score of 80% is required; failing within two attempts makes the clinician DNU for CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months. A pass/fail Sim Lab is also required on Day 1 of orientation (study guides provided with first-day instructions), plus 2 days of floor-specific orientation.

One unique twist: the assignment has a floating component tied to sister-facility coverage—so your flexibility and readiness will be put to use.
