Job Description:

Step into an Emergency Department travel healthcare contract in Asheville, North Carolina—working nights in a high-volume ED setting aligned with a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. This role is designed for an experienced ER professional who thrives when the pace is fast, shifting across ED sections as needs change while staying grounded in teamwork.

In this position, you’ll cover emergency department workflow from triage through ongoing unit operations, using Cerner documentation and supporting care coordination practices that emphasize patient experience standards and real-time communication. You’ll be expected to follow department expectations including AIDET and respectful, consistent bedside engagement, keeping boards and patient updates current throughout the visit.

Certifications required include BLS (on hire) and ACLS/PALS/TNCC/CPI/NIHSS (before start), with ENPC within 90 days of hire. The ED team values flexibility, coaching, and the ability to support colleagues across the unit.
