Job Description:

Join a dedicated Physical Therapy team in a busy Burn Unit at a PT Acute Care Hospital. This role requires working Saturdays and Sundays, focusing on burn patient rehabilitation, with additional weekday shifts that you can choose. You'll manage up to 8 patients daily, addressing mobility, positioning, and scar prevention. The facility also offers outpatient therapy evaluations when time allows. Flexibility is key, as you'll be floating among inpatient and outpatient loads, providing care for patients with a range of burn injuries, surgical dressings, and limiting issues. The setting offers a chance to make a real impact in patient recovery, with a schedule based on 8-hour days and a weekly commitment of 40 hours over 13 weeks.
