Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse position offers an engaging 13-week contract at a Level II Trauma Center in Bangor, Maine. You'll be handling complex neuro and trauma cases, including ventilator management, EVD care, ICP monitoring, and multisystem trauma. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing hands-on care for critical patients such as stroke, DKA, and post-surgical trauma, with a patient ratio of 1:2. Expect to collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, and a dedicated support team. This assignment provides a unique opportunity to sharpen critical care skills in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing teamwork, assessment, and adaptability.
