Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced ICU setting in Rapid City where you’ll manage a diverse caseload of complex patients including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases. This 14-week temporary assignment involves 12-hour night shifts, spanning a total of 48 hours per week, allowing you to experience a rotation that keeps your nights lively and days free. The unit is a mixed ICU divided into pods, primarily handling critical patients with diagnoses such as ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, and trauma. You’ll work closely with a skilled team of nurses, physicians, and specialists, and have opportunities to utilize your ICU expertise—especially if you have cardiac or ventilator management experience. This role offers a chance to refine your skills in a supportive environment, including a comprehensive orientation, while staying in a vibrant city known for its outdoor adventures and welcoming community.
