Job Description:

This respiratory therapy contract offers a stimulating opportunity to work predominantly during night shifts in a busy hospital setting. You will be responsible for managing ventilated patients across all age groups, including critically ill infants in the NICU and adults in various intensive care units. The role requires a adept understanding of high-frequency jet ventilation, nitric oxide, and other advanced respiratory equipment. Expect to handle a fluctuating census of 6-7 ventilated patients daily, with patient visits averaging around 40 per day. The assignment combines technical skill with adaptability, as you’ll float between units and work with diverse patient populations. This is a chance to refine your expertise in critical care respiratory therapy while contributing to a dedicated team in a vibrant healthcare environment.
