Job Description:

This Emergency Department RN contract offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting with a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The shift runs from 2:30 PM to 3:00 AM, totaling 40 hours per week over a 13-week duration. You'll be responsible for managing critical patient conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, and cardiac arrest, utilizing prior ED experience and familiarity with advanced medical equipment like rapid infusors and Arctic Sun. The role emphasizes autonomous decision-making in a high-energy environment, with float requirements across various units. Experience with EMR systems (EPIC) and current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC are mandatory. A valid NY license and a driver’s license matching your address are required, along with documentation showing more than 3 years of ED experience, including travel experience if applicable. Local candidates are welcome, but travel distance is a consideration for housing.
