Job Description:

This 13-week contract in White Plains, NY, offers a unique opportunity to work on a fast-paced labor and delivery unit, primarily during 12-hour days. The role involves managing high-risk obstetric patients, including C-sections and antepartum care, with an emphasis on independent assessments and full exams. A strong background in high-risk OB nursing is essential, and you'll have the chance to collaborate with hospitalists or intensivists who provide in-house coverage three nights a week. The environment requires adaptability, especially as you'll work in a setting that occasionally tasks in OB or nursery without always taking bedside patients. The assignment emphasizes excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle a variety of patient needs in a high-energy atmosphere.
