Job Description:

Join a high-stakes Cardio Thoracic ICU as a registered nurse, where you'll be integral to caring for critically ill cardiac patients in a busy short-term acute care setting. This 13-week assignment offers 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing a mix of intense clinical work and opportunities to hone your expertise with advanced monitoring equipment like Swan-Ganz catheters. You'll work an average of 48 hours per week, floating within the ICU to ensure staffing needs are met while providing top-tier care. Prior experience in cardiac ICU and proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring are essential. This role is perfect for experienced RNs ready to thrive in a focused, fast-paced environment that values knowledge and independence. Acceptance of first-time travelers is possible with relevant cardiac ICU experience. Certifications required include NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS. The facility emphasizes teamwork and flexibility, with occasional floating to other ICUs within the hospital.
