Job Description:

Join a stepdown unit in a busy hospital setting as a Registered Nurse specializing in cardiac and multi-disciplinary patient care. This 13-week contract offers the flexibility of either 4x12 or 3x12 night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) for a total of 48 hours per week. Work alongside a unique co-care/virtual nursing model where a bedside RN collaborates with remote virtual RNs and CNAs to provide comprehensive patient support. Your scope includes managing complex cardiac patients—such as those with CHF, MI, pacemakers, or arrhythmias—as well as respiratory cases including COVID, COPD, and trach care. This assignment is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills in a fast-paced, urban hospital environment, contributing to high-acuity patient care with a team that values innovation and teamwork. An AK RN license is required before auto-offer; license processing must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Candidats must be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary setting with a variety of patient populations, including neurology, renal, and medical-surgical cases requiring higher-level monitoring.
