Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you on the night shift in the 2 North - Med-Surg unit at Methodist Hill Country in Fredericksburg, TX. You'll be working 12-hour nights, providing essential support to a well-staffed and specialized team managing a 24-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:6. Your role will involve performing vital signs, administering IV medications, assisting with wound care, and monitoring patients using advanced equipment such as cardiac gtts, bladder scanners, and IV pumps. Previous telemetry and postop care experience are necessary, with additional points awarded for certifications like PALS and NIH. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy hospital setting while working alongside a team of dedicated professionals. Expect to bring your initiative and teamwork skills, especially as you may float to the ICU for overflow. The schedule includes signing up for every other weekend and holiday shifts, with all required certifications like BLS and ACLS in place.
