Job Description:

Step into a Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse role built around night-shift workflow and telemetry-focused care in Seneca, South Carolina. This travel contract supports adult patients in observation status and inpatient overflow, with a steady mix of cardiac and medical presentations including chest pain/acute coronary syndrome, cardiac arrhythmias, syncope, CVA/TIA/stroke work-up, pneumonia, heart failure, COPD, sepsis, and GI bleed.

You’ll run cardiac/telemetry monitoring, manage pulse oximetry monitoring, coordinate testing and procedures, and partner with providers and multidisciplinary teams to help drive patient-specific plans. The assignment includes support for the Oconee Memorial Rapid Assessment Unit Services—helping with assessment, collaboration, and coordination across specialty services such as cardiology, neurology, general surgery, orthopedics, and more. You may also encounter special procedures such as permanent pacemaker pacing, TEE, thoracentesis/paracentesis, and continuous IV infusion and IV push medication workflows per facility policy.

Shift structure is 3x12 nights (19:00–07:30), with floating to nearby units as needed. Weekend coverage is every other weekend, though it may adjust based on operational needs. Medication systems include Pyxis and Omnicell. You’ll need a SC RN license and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS, plus at least one year of EPIC experience to be considered.

Expect comfortable, changeable weather with mild days and cooler evenings. Humidity can vary, and occasional showers are possible, making layers helpful for time outside between shifts.
