Job Description:

This RN ICU contract offers a chance to work in a 30-bed unit with an average census of 26 at a well-equipped facility in Charlotte, NC. You will manage critically ill patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA, and renal failure, among others, using advanced critical care skills including invasive line management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, ventilator support, and blood product administration. The role involves 12-hour night shifts for 16 weeks, providing an immersive experience in a fast-paced environment. Floating within the regional network is required, with the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes charge nurses, clinical supervisors, pharmacists, and intensivists. Your expertise will contribute to a cohesive, family-oriented team committed to excellent patient outcomes, and you'll enjoy the support of top-tier equipment like EPIC EMR and Phillips monitors.
