Job Description:

Join a renowned Level I trauma center in Springfield, Illinois, as a CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. This role offers 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM, with the potential to shift to 4x12s. You'll be responsible for managing complex cardiovascular ICU cases, including PICC line management and starting IVs, while staying within the scope of practice. The position requires a minimum of one year of CVICU experience, certification in BLS and ACLS, and an active Illinois license or an application in progress. Flexibility is appreciated, including floating within scope as needed, and a check-in with the manager about block scheduling is encouraged.
