Job Description:

This 13-week contract places you in the vibrant setting of UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, working as an RN in inpatient rehab. The role involves 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, where you'll be part of a skilled team managing patients with high-acuity needs, including stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic trauma. The hospital functions similarly to a medical-surgical environment, requiring nurses to assist with patient safety, answer call lights, and support C.N.As during busy shifts. Experience with Epic electronic health records and at least one year of nursing in a skilled care setting are essential, with Med-Surg or inpatient rehab background preferred. The assignment offers a chance to contribute to meaningful recovery processes in a specialized rehabilitation setting.
