Job Description:

This oncology registered nurse role offers a chance to work in a dedicated acute care hospital setting with a Level I trauma designation. You will be providing specialized chemotherapy administration and IV therapy, managing cytotoxic spills, and monitoring lab values—no two days are the same. The 3x12-hour day shifts (7:15 AM to 6:45 PM) allow for a balanced workweek, with every other weekend duty. First-timers with chemotherapy experience are welcomed, and active Illinois licensure or an application in progress is required. This position emphasizes hands-on chemotherapy skills, including infusion management and port care. Expect to collaborate closely with a professional team in a busy, high-level trauma center that values expertise in oncology care.
