Job Description:

This travel RN position at the 17 James Medical Oncology unit offers a chance to work with adult and geriatric patients diagnosed with various solid tumor cancers, including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers. You will be providing care across all stages—from diagnosis to treatment and end-of-life support—while floating between Medical-Surgical and Oncology units as needed. The role involves interpreting telemetry monitoring, managing patients with complex cancer diagnoses, and adhering to strict infection prevention and fall prevention protocols. The shift consists of three 12-hour days from 07:00 to 19:30, with a total commitment of 36 hours weekly over 16 weeks. Experience in oncology, telemetry, and holding certifications such as BLS and ONS Chemo is preferred.
