Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse role offers a chance to work in a high-acuity cardiac ICU, focusing on post-operative open heart recovery. You will be responsible for caring for patients with fresh hearts, ventilators, chest tubes, lumbar drains, and renal issues. The shift involves 12-hour night rotations from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required. Floating to ICUs, PACU, ED, and IMC units is standard, providing diverse hands-on experiences. Candidates with 2 years of current CVICU experience, including familiarity with devices like Impella, IABP, and CRRT, or with recent open heart surgeries such as CABG, MVR, AVR, or TAVR, will thrive in this environment.
