Job Description:

Join a specialized Post-Open Heart Recovery Unit as a CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. You'll work 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), providing critical care to patients recovering from cardiac surgeries such as thoracotomies, esophagogastrectomies, and TAVR procedures. This role involves managing complex cardiac monitors, interpreting dysrhythmias, and handling advanced devices like ECMO, IABP, and ventricular assist devices. Candidates should have at least 2 years of ICU experience specific to cardiac care and hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment where attention to detail and proficiency in ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and central line care are essential. Please note that RTO requests are not permitted after booking, and absences on unit could lead to cancellation.
