Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse role involves providing specialized care to patients recovering from complex cardiac surgeries, such as CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR procedures. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on a 13-week contract, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. Your expertise will support ventilated patients with chest tubes, lumbar drains, and devices like Swan-Ganz catheters, ensuring they receive the highest level of post-operative care. Floating across ICUs, PACU, ED, and IMC units may be required, offering a variety of clinical experiences. First-time travelers are welcome, and this assignment provides a unique opportunity to hone your skills with advanced equipment such as Impella, IABP, and CRRT using Prismax.
