Job Description:

Join the ICU team at a prominent hospital in Asheville, NC, for a 13-week travel contract that promises a focus on high-acuity care. This role centers on managing a 16-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) in a specialized building, working 12-hour night shifts, and embracing the challenge of titrating vesicant medications while interpreting telemetry and hemodynamics. You'll experience a setting where advanced equipment like Ventilators, Telemetry, Baxter IV Pumps, IABP, and CRRT are standard tools, and you'll work solely with RNs—no HUCs or PCTs—allowing for a focused, team-driven environment. This contract offers an opportunity to refine your skills in procedures such as cardioversion, central line insertion, chest tubes, and PA catheter interpretation, with optional certifications like CCRN highly valued. The hospital fosters a professional yet supportive atmosphere, emphasizing quality care for critically ill patients.
