Job Description:

Join a fast-paced trauma medical/surgical unit at a renowned Nebraska hospital for a 13-week contract as an MS/Tele Registered Nurse. In this role, you'll primarily work 12-hour day shifts, providing specialized care to trauma patients admitted from emergency, ICU transfers, or surgical services. You'll need to be comfortable floating within the scope of your practice across various units, including neuro, orthopedic, and observation wards. This assignment offers an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital renowned for its complex patient cases and cutting-edge research. Note: First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center. RNs must have at least two years of experience in a large, urban hospital, and EPIC charting experience is required. Expect to collaborate with care techs, transport teams, and paramedics in a NICOTINE-FREE environment. The role demands working weekends, major holidays, and flexibility for occasional floating to meet staffing needs. You’ll be part of a dedicated team providing urgent trauma care in a setting that combines clinical challenge with professional growth.
