Job Description:

This RN position is focused on supporting the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) float pool, providing flexibility and a varied experience by working across all PCU and IMCU floors with cardiac patients. The role involves managing patients with complex cardiac conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain, administering cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and various pressors. Travelers will also have the opportunity to work with telemetry beds carrying lower acuity cases. Expect to collaborate closely with staff on 12-hour day shifts, handling a patient load with a ratio of approximately 1:3-4. You'll need a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar-sized facility, with BLS and ACLS certifications required. The use of EPIC EMR technology will be integral to documentation and communication. This assignment offers a unique chance to broaden your cardiac nursing expertise while floating across different specialized units, all within a bustling hospital setting.
