Job Description:

Join a vibrant hospital in Augusta, GA, working as a PCU Registered Nurse on a 12-hour night shift schedule. This 14-week contract offers the chance to be immersed in a specialized medical unit that handles neuro/stroke, respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical patients with continuous telemetry monitoring. You'll be responsible for managing PCU patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring quality care in a setting that uses systems like Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR. The role requires a minimum of one year of experience, but first-timers with the right certifications are welcome. Expect to work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment focused on adolescent to geriatric populations, with opportunities to float within the facility as needed. The assignment includes handling multiple holidays and working every other weekend, providing an engaging experience for those looking to expand their expertise in a structured, supportive setting.
