Job Description:

Join a busy Emergency Department as an RN on a 13-week travel contract in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This role involves providing critical patient care in a highly active ED environment, with the flexibility to float between units and hospitals as needed. Expect to work 12-hour mids shifts, with a patient-to-nurse ratio that can be as low as 1:1 for trauma patients. The assignment offers a chance to gain trauma experience while working within a Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center that treats over 60,000 patients annually. Be prepared for a mix of scheduled shifts, including holidays and weekends, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week. This role is perfect for a seasoned RN comfortable working in fast-paced settings and meeting rigorous certification requirements.
