Job Description:

This traveling RN position focuses on Labor Delivery Nursery at Mercy Hospital Ada, situated in a welcoming community in Ada, Oklahoma. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing direct patient care to women in labor and the nursery, with two openings available. Expect to utilize your expertise in the nursing process, coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. The assignment offers a unique chance to experience a supportive hospital environment while exploring the local attractions. Previous experience in labor and delivery, along with certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP, are required, and familiarity with EPIC EMR is preferred. You’ll be responsible for maintaining professional accountability and delivering quality care in this specialized setting over a 13-week contract, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours.
