Job Description:

Join a renowned Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis as a PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract working the challenging but rewarding night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role involves caring for adult, adolescent, and geriatric post-operative patients recovering from a wide array of surgeries, including neurosurgery, orthopedics, trauma, and transplant cases. You'll be responsible for managing patients requiring invasive monitoring, artificial airways, transfusions, and vasoactive medications, all within a fast-paced environment where critical care skills are essential. The unit operates 24/7 with a dedicated transport team and includes 38 patient bays, offering an engaging experience in a premier Magnet and teaching hospital setting.
