Job Description:

Join us in Wausau, WI, as a PACU RN for a 13-week travel contract that places you right at the heart of perioperative care. You'll be responsible for supporting post-anesthesia recovery in a busy hospital setting, managing patients across general, spine, neuro, GI, ENT, cardiac, PV, and orthopedic cases. Your role involves monitoring patients in a 14-bay recover unit with a 1:2 patient ratio, preparing patients for transfer or discharge, and stabilizing ICU patients before transfer. This position offers a variety of shifts, primarily 10-hour days, with a schedule that includes call nights and weekends, making each week both demanding and rewarding. You’ll work closely with a skilled team in an environment that values your expertise and quick thinking.
