Job Description:

Join our team as a Labor & Delivery RN on a 13-week travel contract, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM in Newark, Delaware. This role involves managing high-acuity obstetric cases, including labor, induction, cesarean sections, and fetal demise. You'll be supporting a 21-30 bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3. Expect to chart on Cerner, transitioning to Epic, and to wear Ceil Blue scrubs provided by the facility. The setting offers a chance to work with a variety of procedures such as epidural management, magnesium sulfate administration, Pitocin titration, and insulin drips. Overtime is generally not authorized for travel RNs, but you'll be expected to support float coverage for antenatal, high risk, OB triage, and postpartum units if needed. Prepare to engage with a busy, fast-paced environment where clear handoffs and teamwork are essential.
