Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery RN contract involves working in a vibrant, beachside acute care hospital in Santa Monica, California. You will be responsible for caring for antepartum, labor, and high-risk obstetric patients across four antepartum rooms and nine labor/High-Risk rooms. The role includes fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancy management, and assisting with procedures like C-sections and vaginal deliveries. No on-call shifts are required, and you’ll have the opportunity to float to postpartum units if needed. Expect a mix of routine deliveries and complex cases, with some bonus incentives for additional responsibilities like couplet care. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts, providing a consistent overnight routine for the duration of 13 weeks.
