Job Description:

This contract opportunity calls for a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse ready to dive into a fast-paced environment at a busy acute care facility. You will provide direct patient care for a diverse mix of acute conditions, including infections, renal and cardiac issues, pulmonary problems, oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, pre-transplant cases, and more. The high patient turnover means you'll manage multiple patients per shift, often with varying conditions, requiring quick thinking and adaptability. Expect to receive training on advanced equipment like Alaris pumps, CPAPs, BIPAPs, and more. The role emphasizes flexibility within your scope to meet facility needs, and you'll be working 12-hour days with an average of 36 hours guaranteed per week. This assignment offers the chance to sharpen your clinical skills in a dynamic setting, all while experiencing the vibrant city life nearby.
